The sanitary valve design allows operators to easily adjust the cracking pressure using the fine-thread adjusting nut and a standard wrench. This provides flexible pressure control for changing process conditions while helping maintain reliable system protection.
The DCX3 also supports clean-in-place (CIP) operation without requiring system over-pressurization to open the valve. Instead, compressed air can be supplied to the actuator to open the valve during cleaning cycles, simplifying CIP procedures and reducing stress on system components.
